SELECTION CRITERIA FOR SECTION ASSISTANT

The Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination with details breakup of marks as follows.

Written Examination    (Objective type multiple choice).Duration : 2 hoursExcept in General English, questions will be set both in English and Assamese

General English	30 Questions
General Knowledge and Intelligence with Special emphasis on Assam	20 Questions
Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude	50 Questions
Total Marks for Written Test	100

The candidates will have to attend 100 objective type questions in the written test. For every correct answer the candidate will be awarded 1(one) mark. The question(s) not attempted will receive no credit or discredit.

The candidates equal the number of vacancies in order of merit in written examination, will be called for verification of original testimonials.On the basis of marks obtained in Written Test and on Verification of original documents, the final panel will be prepared for appointment in order of merit.
